A Shaligram Shila is a fossilized ammonite or stone that is found in the banks or riverbed of Kali Gandaki,a tributary of Nepal’s Gandaki River.It is considered a form of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. It is believed to bring good luck, prosperity and blessings to those who worship it.

If Someone is unable to perform an elaborate puja of Shaligram Shila daily Then he or she may keep the Shila on a copper plate, wash it with water and aly a tilak of sandalwood paste, offer tulsi leaves and raw turmeric.Offer yellow flowers and yellow sweets to Vishnu Shila continuously chanting with Om Namah Vagabate Vasudevaye Namah and Om Maha Lakshmaye namah.
