A Shaligram shila is a fossilized ammonite or stone that is found in the banks or riverbed of Kali Gandaki,a tributary of Nepal’s Gandaki River.It is considered a form of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism.It is believed to bring good luck,roserity and blessings to those who worship it.

Lakshmi Narayan Shaligram-A Lakshmi Narayan Shaligram is worshied as a representation of the Hindu Deities Lord Vishnu and Mata Lakshmi.It is considered to be one of the most powerful and rarest Shaligrams.
If Someone is unable to perform an elaborate puja of Shaligram Shila daily Then he or she may keep the Shila on a copper plate, wash it with water and aly a tilak of sandalwood paste, offer tulsi leaves and raw turmeric. Offer yellow flowers and yellow sweets to Vishnu shila continuously chanting with Om Namah Vagabate Vasudevaye Namah and Om Maha Lakshmaye Namah.
